CHF Funding

Concord Housing Foundation provides funding for two primary objectives:
Affordable Housing Projects + Targeted Relief Funds

A recent example is the addition to the Barrett’s Mill Farmhouse. Though a Town-owned property, other Concord housing groups were unable to fund the addition as it didn’t fall under their purview. In the winter of 2026, CHF stepped in and, thanks to generous donors, was able to raise the $300,000 needed to fund the addition. As a result, two farming families will be able to continue to live at and operate Barrett’s Mill Farm, a fully organic, women-owned agricultural gem.

Other recent CHF fundraising projects include Assabet River Homes, along the rail trail, The Gerow House next to Warners Pond, and a renovated duplex along Main Street. Click here for more information about Concord Housing Foundation projects.

Fundraising for Affordable Housing Projects

In addition to affordable housing advocacy, outreach, and education, Concord Housing Foundation (CHF) runs targeted fundraising campaigns for affordable housing projects in Concord. As an independent non-profit 501c3 corporation, CHF has the flexibility to address specific fundraising projects when other Town-of-Concord-affiliated housing groups are unable.

CHF Targeted Relief Funds

Concord Housing Foundation grants modest relief funds to Concord residents to help cover one-time costs related to housing. The goal is to help Concord residents bridge financial gaps when acquiring or maintaining residences in the town. CHF specifically targets funds for municipal workers moving to the town, and to seniors trying to stay in the town.
